Eye mapping

We use the Medmont scanner to create detailed maps of the front of the eye, which is useful for advanced contact lens fitting, such as orthokeratology, as well as detecting corneal diseases like keratoconus.

Medmont scanner

The Medmont scanner is an instrument which allows us to take a detailed mapping of the front of the eye. We use this a lot for advanced contact lens fitting eg orthokeratology, however it also has a significant role to play in the detection of corneal disease eg. keratoconus. In our private work with Professor Muhtaseb of iLase this instrument is invaluable.
