Corneal Pachymetry

Corneal pachymetry is the process of measuring the thickness of the cornea. A pachymeter is a medical device used to measure the thickness of your cornea. We use it primarily when screening patients for glaucoma or keratoconus but also for those considering refractive surgery.

We use an instrument called the Pachmate 2 which uses ultrasound and is globally recognised as the leading handheld tachymeter.
