Professional Fees
Private eye examination: £34.50
Contact Lens check: £45 (including £15 off next purchase of contact lenses)
Digital retinal photography £15
Corneal topography (3D mapping of the eye): £50
Corneal pachymetry(Thickness): £10
All eyecare for those that qualify for an NHS exemption and children, including eye
examinations and spectacles where necessary, is free.
If you are unsure of your exemption,
please ring the practice.
Judith, Austin and Mandy are fully accredited to provide examinations under
the PEARS (Primary Eye Care Acute Referral Scheme) and
WECE(Welsh Eye Care Examination) schemes
introduced by the Welsh Assembly in 2003. These eye examinations may include
extra tests as the
optometrist feel appropriate or dependant on the patient's symptoms or GP referral.

The practice is a DVLA registered practice and can conduct visual field tests for driving licenses.
Spectacles and Lenses
We have a wide range of spectacles from budget to designer label. As we are independent
we cansupply from any manufacturer of frames and lenses. It is our policy not to favour any one supplier.
We are constantly updating ourselves in all the latest technologies and products in order to provide our patients with what is best for them.
